This organization is rooted in compassion, lived experience, and the belief that no child should face life’s storms alone.
Our programs are dedicated to nourishing both body and spirit—ensuring no one misses a meal, while providing healing and hope for children impacted by trauma & loss.

Helping girls ages 6–16 stay connected with their incarcerated fathers.
We believe that a father’s love matters, even when distance and prison walls separate families. Daddy’s Little Girl, a nonprofit focused on youth empowerment, ensures young girls can continue building healthy, lasting relationships with their dads — because that bond plays a vital role in self-esteem, resilience, and healing.
✨ We believe that every little girl deserves the chance to feel loved by her father.

Providing hope, healing, and long-term support for girls who have lost their mothers to gun violence, ensuring they feel loved, guided, and empowered as they navigate grief and grow into strong young women.
Losing your mom is one of the hardest tragedies a child can endure, and when that loss comes through violence, the pain and confusion can feel unbearable. Surviving the Storm was created to provide gun victim violence support to grieving daughters, walking alongside these girls through their grief and offering healing programs that emphasize comfort and hope.
We exist to honor the lives of mothers lost to gun violence by nurturing their daughters, ages 6–16, with compassion, mentorship, and lifelong support—ensuring no girl has to face her storm alone.
✨”As a girl who lost my mother to gun violence, I know firsthand that girls who share this experience are a rare and delicate group. It is critical for these girls to be loved, protected, properly guided, and treated with care after this horrible tragedy.”

Both Surviving the Storm and Daddy’s Little Girl are deeply personal to our founder, LaMonica Jackson, who grew up facing both tragedies — losing her mother to gun violence and navigating life with an incarcerated father. Out of those experiences came a passion for youth empowerment and the creation of mentorship for girls who are facing those same adversities, ensuring no girl feels forgotten, alone or unsupported during life’s hardest storms. Through our nonprofit, we aim to provide gun violence support and healing programs to help young girls overcome their challenges.
“This is more than a vision—it’s my story. Surviving the Storm and Daddy’s Little Girl were birthed from my own journey, created to serve a rare and delicate population of girls walking the same path. This mission is personal.”
”It’s my story- and my mission”💖
