Founded on compassion and lived experiences, The Taste of St. Louis Helping Hands is a nonprofit organization created to address two urgent needs: hunger relief and emotional support for girls ages 6-16, facing life-changing loss. Our programs are designed to nourish the body and heal the heart.

Our mission is to ensure no one misses a meal while providing nourishment, healing, and hope to children and families facing loss and trauma.
WHY OUR WORK MATTERS
Thousands of children each year lose a parent to gun violence in the U.S., and millions of children have at least one incarcerated parent. These children often suffer in silence, but our children's programs are designed to provide them with essential community support, emotional support, and hunger relief. We exist to ensure they are not forgotten — giving them a sense of belonging, hope, and healing.
