Taste of St. Louis Helping Hands is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to address two urgent needs: hunger relief and emotional support for children, facing life-changing loss.
Our mission is to ensure no one misses a meal by providing nourishment to individuals and families in need, while offering hope and healing-centered support to children impacted by loss, trauma, and parental incarceration.

When a child loses a parent to death or incarceration, the pain can affect every part of their life emotionally, socially, and even physically.
Without the right support, children facing this kind of loss may be at greater risk for depression, abandonment issues, substance abuse, homelessness, teen pregnancy, incarceration, and other long-term challenges.
That is why our work matters. Through our childrenβs programs, we provide emotional support, mentorship, and healing-centered care so children feel seen, supported, and surrounded by hope as they heal. Through our hunger relief efforts, we provide nourishment to individuals and families in need, helping ensure no one misses a meal.
